The islands are the perfect home for snorkelers looking for shallow, coral reef bottoms and tropical life, but again the big attraction is the opportunity to spot the huge pacific manta rays, which range in size from 8 - 14 feet, and frequent the islands because of the abundance of plankton. From Jan - Jun, the visibility is generally 15 to 40 ft and the water temperature is 68F to 75F. From Jul - Dec the visibility increases to 30 to 100 ft and the water temperature rises to 78F to 85F.
